Sent request to Lightstar to swap seats with me as Sazz wants me next to her.

Also anyone know when this seating defrag is coming. Drax is stranded so far from us :(

Ok done, swapped you two, although be patient as the defrag should be soon, and we'll have to reorganise again anyways.

Oh well..... here's their reply....I replied and asked them if they could at least move drax next to us...

Hi James,

Unfortunatly I'm struggling to see where we can move people to sit so many of you. If you have any suggestions though I'd be happy to give them a go for you.

All they need to do is account for one freaking space and move the entire row along one? :smt022

Obviously moving one random person away (mb where drax is now) and moving the whole row along would work. Surely they thought of this...

Go on Nalan, sort them out for us. I know you can talk them into it ;)

I've just spoken to him on the phone, and he says he should be able to move Drax closer to us. So we should see the changes soon enough.

Also he's just called back to say a bunch of people are moving from the section we are in so we may be able to be moved around closer to eachother.... but he'll get back to me on that.

What is the deal with bringing alcohol (or just having it near the PCs at all) this year?

Is my own beer okay outside?
Unfortunately not. The entire racecourse is a licenced venue - car park included - and so we can't allow alcohol anywhere on the premises. The bar is open late and has plenty of beer ;-)

So this asks for some cunning tricks, no big deal. :)

That ansear on the FAQ refers to Newbury race course not Stoneleigh Park.

You are allowed your own alchohol in the tent area just not alowed to take it inside the buildings!

All you need is a bottle of JD and a bottle of Coke (or any other mixer, but because Coke is darker in colour, it hides the JD better), and a spare empty bottle of Coke.

Empty half a bottle of JD in spare Coke bottle,

Empty half of the full Coke bottle into the spare Coke bottle,

Seal the spare bottle and shake to mix. Open gently to release the built up pressure.

You now have a bottle of Coke with JD mixed inside, cunningly disguised as a bottle of Coke!

I have a feeling they were actualy checking for people doing this at the last Lan as they were searching any bags for drink and if you see a full bottel of coke with the seal broken its pritty obviose. You an always glue the seal back on if your that desperate. Just bu the beer there its normaly only around £2.00 a pint anywayy.

But what about when you bring in your shopping with snacks and stuff?
What if you drank some at the camp site before bringing it in?
I managed to get it in before. They can't check for everything with everyone. Plus beer makes me sleepy.
Or we could make a distraction? We could Dash through first as a Spy and backstab them... then you could get the CSS guys to MG42 them all....

That sounds like funtimes!

Anyway, just don't fill up the coke bottle fully, nothing suspicious then. :)
