Could use a company like this http://www.spreadshirt.co.uk/design-your-own-t-shirt-C59

Will try and think up some designs later, was thinking like our black t-shirts from i40 with maybe a green/black flame. Could stick on our QR code again, or leave it out?

Very Very rough idea

I like the 10 years idea... I don't like the idea of doing 5 applications per shirt though (1. logo front white, 2. logo front red, 3. i49, 4. 10 years, 5. web addy) becasue it will take me ages.

I have in mind something much easier which involves 2 or maybe 3 application max per shirt. What I have in mind would look great on a light coloured shirt (doesn't have to be white), this would keep Lance happy.

Question.. would Nalan be ok with a light coloured shirt (assuming I show design first) as in the past he has inisted on having black. I'm not doing two seperate design's as I haven't got time to mess about with it this year. :smt004

EDIT:

Here are some photos of a tshirt my colleague made at work. I was thinking something more in this style where the artwork has a more natural printed look rather than being sharp cut vinyl etc.. I was thinking that somehow incorporatign a big '10' into the logo perhaps making that fit right accross the shoulders perhaps with stylised wings?

Note, the above design is about the max width that will fit on our machine, it was actualyl too tall, but can be applied in two goes.

i49 shirts

Postby lancew » Mon Jun 17, 2013 1:19 pm

:smt031 Lol. We have me the white only and Nalan the black only. What are we going to do!!!!

http://www.decathlon.co.uk/black-ss-jersey-3-id_8237965.html

I'd be happy with that TBH, if its a cycle shirt I'll wear black as it goes with my (beautiful) bike.

Oh and those decathlon bike shirts I got at 10 per shirt we brilliant. The material was nice, the had back pockets which could be handy and a zip neck. The material was good enough for 6 hours of sweaty cycling down to Brighton at pace. I would recomend them.

An alternative would be something like this:

http://www.decathlon.co.uk/techfresh-100-t-shirt-id_8241684.html Once again its a gym top, which is always nice when we're at the LAN as its not too hot in there. Also I wear my last one once/twice a week for the gym.

EDIT:

Those are awesome dash.

We could incorporate peoples name with the 10 years logo and the webby so the back is all one print. If you need a hand with the printing, I could pop over to your work, after my work or get a half day or something.

I think keeping the front simple works quite well, though I just had a brainstorm of the TO logo with 'ten years' attached somehow????

Do we need the website on the back?

I do like the "T"en there. But it needs to be neatened

I don't like the I49 at the waist.

edit:

BTW dash, what format did he print that teeshirt on?

Lance he made them by printing in reverse (mirror) onto solvent light media using one of our eco solvent machines which cut it out too, then flipping it over and pressing it on with a heat press; then simply peel off the backing leaving the individual pieces left on the shirt.

@Plightstar: I like the 'Ten' using the TO logo, good thinking. Keep ideas coming guys.

FYI - I want black, and if you do those "cooling" type shirts, I would happily pay for a separate shirt. It just looked shit on me and I never wear the one we had for i43?? But I still wear the others as they are ladyfit. :D

Lance, you aren't going are you? :/

Yeah I'm going to butt out of this conversation now that I've realized how low the likelihood of me going is I'm afraid.

If I could help it I would, but its not by choice.

Well no one has actualyl voted for black, I just assumed Nalan would want it.

As I said I'd like to have a go at some white or light coloured shirts like the one I put up a picture of. I can tell you that that transfer media used on the white shirts feels much nicer than the stuff I would have to use if I was going to do it on black tshirts. Basically the white shirts will work better.

Okie dokie! Just as I said though, if you go for those mens cooling t-shirts I will need a separate one. Because it looked awful on me last time. :D

But still prefer black, if I had a choice. It's slimming guy!

EDIT: I have just seen the link that Lance put up. Nooo way. This is not a gym or a cycling t-shirt. It is for a LAN. ????????????? HELLO!?

Plightstar and I had a go at doing a design for this years Tshirts. Here's the idea for the front.

We also designed the back, but haven't digitized it yet. More to follow.

Let me know what you think.

Please can I ask everyone on the list to send me a fiver for their shirt via paypal before I place the order rather than waiting till i49.

My paypal address is kingsby40 at hotmail dot com.

(put something meaningful in the reason for payment such as 'i49 tshirt' or '[TO] TEN YEARS tshirt')

Cheers ppl.
